Paying attention to the business environment in the brazilian electric sector the ENGUIAS are looking for opportunities to acquire small hydroelectric power plants and to establish partnerships to develop new ventures.

In the same way due to the brazilian's huge potential and vocation to bring in new possibilities of generate electric energy from alternative sources  and cosidering the fact that ENGUIAS's 12 T.P.Ps are located in the Northeast region of Brasil the company is developing projects and looking for partnerships to implement wind power plants.

The Enguia BA Ltda is now applying to the EPE in order to participate in the next public auctions scheduled for june & july,2008.The project is based on a new T.P.P. with 218 MW using  gas turbines.

The partnership ENGUIA / USINAVERDE resulted in the development of projects of generate electric energy from the treatment of urban or industrial solid waste.
